What Training Qualifies for OPL Program Credits
AOL provides Oregon Professional Logger enrolled companies with monthly training calendars showing approved credit programs. A logging operator may submit to AOL any qualified course agenda for OPL approval. Workshops in neighboring states may qualify as well.
AOL tracks approved OPL training earned by enrolled operators as either Category A or B credit hours. One hour of qualified training equals one credit - tracked on a company basis. To assure credit is recorded for training completed, a company should submit to AOL a seminar agenda, proof of attendance, company and name of individual attending. An OPL program sign-in sheet may be passed around at some sessions to satisfy this need.
Qualified OPL training is offered by many providers around the state, including AOL. Contact AOL to determine if a course qualifies for OPL credit.
