Who is an OPL Logging Operator
An "OPL Logging Operator" is a harvest-related company that has satisfied OPL professional standards to enroll, accredit and maintain the company's status. OPL logging operators can include loggers, road builders, forestry contractors, and others who work in, or own, Oregon forests.
Oregon Professional Loggers are recognized throughout the industry, and the SFI program requires wood supplied by loggers involved in the training program. With more than 700 Oregon logging operator companies enrolled, the OPL program represents a substantial commitment to sustainable forestry. A current OPL Directory is made available to timber companies, woodland owners, media and others as appropriate. Contact AOL to receive a current OPL Directory, or look on the Associated Oregon Loggers' website for a current on-line OPL Directory, www.oregonloggers.org/directory.aspx
